She used to travel the world, picking up matchboxes from hotels and restaurants along the way as a souveneir. There must be at least 50... I just can't decide what to do with them, they're too cool.

A collection of matchboxes
Possibly my favourite possessions - a matchbox collection handed down to me from a lady who worked as an airline hostess for many years. She used to travel the world, picking up matchboxes from hotels and restaurants along the way as a souveneir. There must be at least 50... I just can't decide what to do with them, they're too cool.
Could you make them into an artwork for your wall?
ReplyDeleteI thought of that, but I quite like being able to pick them up and sift through them - some have designs on both the back & front, even inside! I might take proper photos of them all first, then I could hang them...
