An egyptian piece

There's some pretty cool street art around Fitzroy. Enough to warrant a new post label!

A laneway

I heart Fitzroy and it's multitude of laneways.

>> I got the hang of crocheting granny squares, but for this project they're all going to be the same colour so perhaps more interesting when I've joined a few together. Will post a photo when it becomes photo-worthy.

A tigress

I should probably start a street art tag since I keep posting these photos. Discovered tonight on St Georges Road... she's a new favourite.

A girl in red

More great street art, this time in a Fitzroy laneway. Did you see the last one I found? Pretty cute too.

>> I originally envisaged Thousand Threads to be about knitting, with some naturally entwined elements of sewing, craft & art. I do still want to narrow my focus, but find myself interested in so many things... it's problematic. Would I rather be a "good" blogger, or inclusive? (I'm still deciding)

A conversation

This was a street art discovery I made on Flinders Lane in the city. Cute!
