Vintage furniture

I have serious house envy for this place, and here's just one of the many reasons why: a vintage red couch and armchairs! I wonder if Santa will bring me some just like it? I fear not. Better start saving some pennies instead.

Happy birthday to me...

This vintage-style am/fm radio was yet another birthday present! It's going to sit proudly in my bedroom corner with the New York calendar. Today is the best day ever.

The NEW Lost+Found Market

I've been to the new Lost+Found Market (12 Smith St, Collingwood) a few times, and finally remembered to take photos when I was there yesterday - must be something to do with having this week off work cause this is more blogging than I've done in months! Anyway, I didn't buy anything (which is surprising) but there are all sorts of vintage treasures to explore if you find yourself in the area. Even worth a special trip!

>> I had to put up two photos to get the full inside-outside experience; the store goes over multiple levels, and all sorts of different areas, so it was hard to narrow it down to two!

Dress Me Slowly

Dress Me Slowly (328 Nicholson St, Fitzroy) is a vintage and retro clothing store that's only been open a few weeks. There are dresses and skirts for girls, plus shirts and jackets for boys. I haven't bought anything yet, but intend to go back again soon!

>> Also added to my Google map of Melbourne Shops & Markets (a work in progress)

I want these

I was in Palookaville (Brunswick Street, Fitzroy) and spotted these retro orange chairs with a matching table. I think they're pretty rad.

A vintage wallpaper

I found this adorning the walls of a cafe a few months ago, and was so inspired I took a photo. I really love these patterns, and found many like it on Second Hand Rose (they're based in New York City, of course).

>> All photos I post are my own. Yes, sometimes I'll be lazy and post things I already had, but these are my moments captured in time. I hope you like them.
