Just a minute... in June

Scraping in at the end of the month! Here's what's been occupying my time:

Reading... less than I should. Need to find a good book to carry me through the cold weather.

Watching... free DVDs thanks to a Quickflix trial. We've had The Wackness, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Science of Sleep and Broken Flowers - all good!

Listening... to Michael Jackson and Jackson Five songs. Also discovering "Ben" was written about his pet rat.

Eating... winter warmers like soup, curry, stir-fry and porridge. Not all at once.

Knitting... slippers, slippers and more slippers.

Learning... a language! At least that's what I hope to do soon. Either pickup my French again, or start Spanish. German is another contender.

>> I'm wondering if this blog is on wind down, or if it's just a "slow phase". Haven't decided yet.

Cold Weather? Yes, right, it's the other side of the world :)
Over here we have about 29 Degrees Celcius ... we're planing to go swimming in a sea on Wednesday :)

I'm still getting over the bit about Ben being a rat!

Good luck with your language lessons. That would be heaps of fun. Parlez vous francais??

Sandi - Yep, it's actually raining here right now! Very jealous of your summer.

Sabine & Liesl - Je parle un petit peu de fran├žais! ...I learnt at school, err, a l'ecole!

Hollie - That would be amazing, thank you :) Just one at a time or I'll be tempted to start them all at once. Bad habit of mine!

Yeah that one appears a lot on Trivia questions (Ben).

I heard they are having a heat wave in London today - a whopping 32 degrees. Hmmm... meanwhile, back at the rainy ranch.
