Laneway Festival

At St Jerome's Laneway Festival today I saw:
~ Tame Impala
~ Beaches
~ Port O'Brien
~ No Age
~ Pikelet
~ Holly Throsby (pictured above)
~ Augie March
~ The Hold Steady

Highlights: being happily surprised by No Age, The Hold Steady whole set, the free Library Stage, and Rue Bebelons unchanged drink prices.

Lowlights: Lack of water, lack of shade, oversold tickets, and frustrating festival layout with separated stage areas.

>> Also, everyone should check out this article "How green is your footprint?" (not just generic tips, quite insightful I thought)

I was there!! I was working there from11.30 to 4.30 at the little Lonsdale gate at the VIP bit! It was hot and I agree there was a water lack, El Guincho was amazing too!! One day we will have to meet ( we keep going to the same things and never meeting) xx

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of the Melbourne music scene - we're so lucky! Would've been upset if I couldn't get into Girl Talk... I'd seen him before so opted for the Hold Steady instead, but it looked like riots!

Hope you got to enjoy the rest of your day :)
