On my desk

Today I picked up the embroidery plates for my sewing machine (I doubt that's the proper name for them). After having a quick play, I can see huge potential for future projects! I tried to write Thousand Threads with a script setting, but think I'll practice with lines and patterns first. Still can't believe what this machine can do. Wow.

>> This is my first contribution to On my desk! I'm off to read some others...

It says Husqvarna 1100, but not sure what that means - I was lucky enough to have it handed down to me, and am determined to make good use of it!

The plates clip onto the front, and can be changed over depending on which characters you want the machine to stitch.

I found someone with the same machine explaining it here: http://www.kitemonger.com/mymachine.html (she calls the plates "design cassettes")

Thanks for stopping by!
