On my desk

Still going with the granny squares... they're actually quite quick to do now, but I keep forgetting to go back to them. Could be taking on too many projects at once. I have a problem with that. The red wool is almost finished, so I'm going to use grey & black around the edges, then to join. It's mostly for practice - I'm hoping to do a huge Afghan blanket next.

>> I like being part of Kootoyoo's "On my desk" theme, despite most weeks posting about things that take place entirely elsewhere... like the couch :)

I love your granny squares, the colour is great. I need to learn how to do that one day

Isn't working with wool satisfying. I find though that now the weather is warming up it'll have to wait till next Winter!(I have a big pile of knitted squares waiting to turn into a throw rug!)

They're very theraputic, but there's definitely a direct relationship between warmer weather and less knitting or crocheting... my blanket project may have to wait even longer!

Granny squaring is just so relaxing & lovely but I agree quite easy to forget about...maybe that's what makes it so nice.
